| Crazy nutty snow in Portland - 12.14-12.22.08 |
Like the rest of the country, Portland and the entire PNW got pounded with a crazy spate of weather over the week of 12.14 - 12.21/22.08. Sub zero temps and snowfall. Intense and fun at first, we now have well over a foot everywhere on the streets. On the 22nd, I measured my area around my house and have close to 2 feet. Shots on this page: From the 20th to the 22nd, it just got out of hand here. I forget what day it was, probably the 21st (Sunday)...anyway, it came down for close to 6-7 hours straight in my area. My pipes froze on the 21st and so using the (ahem) services were out of the question. Plumbers came on Monday the 22nd though and fixed everything. But it's nuts around here now. Anywhere from 1 to 2 feet has decked Portland. Watch the nuttiness: Blowing snow on the 20th - Movie 1 But wait, there's more: Home | Go back a page | Close page
