Bring it on Laker haters!

Defense of title # 15 and pursuit of the 16th come tonight! Not to mention having the championship rings getting passed out and the banner hung at Staples. Very excited for the season to begin and hope the Lakers are as cool as they seem.

A great read here on the season preview.

It’s almost here….another NBA season!

First, excited for the new upcoming NBA season.

Second, VERY excited to watch the Laker’s defend the title.

Third and final, VERY EXCITED to see if the Lakers can repeat.

One thing for sure, besides Ron Artest, the true “x” factor for the 2010 season is Andrew Bynum. He apparently has big plans for himself too:

Lakers take game 1

Great game last night.

Kobe owned the game, the rest of the crew jumped on his back and my man D Fish dropped bombs at the right times.

Denver is clearly an animal of a team though and this is going to be a long series.

Laker’s “D” is C- worthy

This according to assistant coach Jim Cleamons.

And he should know a thing or 5 about good D having been with Phil since the Bulls days.

Phil hates Vlade

I think it safe to say that in the NBA, ANYBODY is exependable.

I mean if Shaq can be traded 2 times in 3 years…..anyway, I digress.

Today apparantly the Lakers sent Valdomir Radmonovich to Charlotte for Adam Morrison (Mr. Porn Stache from Gonzaga) and Shannon Brown.

This isn’t really big news but for those of us that follow the Lakers it was obvious Phil wasn’t digging on Radmon at all. He fell out of the rotation and is about as absent minded a player as I have ever seen. His saving grace is he can shoot from anywhere.

But the Lakers with Morrison?
Wow.
This should be interesting.

I miss Shaq in LA

There are some days, where I forget just how amazing it used to be have Shaq on the Lakers.

Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t trade the current team/line-up to get Shaq back.

But, you just can’t refute how funny he was and how dominant.
As a reminder to myself, I share this hilarious rip from a few years back on Vlade Divac the fomer Sacramento King’s center that used to whine repeatedly about the Lakers.

Without further ado, Shaq being Shaq:

More Laker “Ish”

I’m a die-hard Laker fan.
That will become evident as this new website grows.
Because I’ll be ranting left, right and left again.

My friends and I are lamenting our center, Andre Bynum, going down with another knee injury at almost the EXACT same time as his one last year against the SAME TEAM no less. I feel awful for the kid and hope the prognosis is right (back in 8-12 weeks).

Watch my horror unfold:

My fav Super Bowl ad

Everyone watches the Super Bowl for a multitude of reasons. The ads are certainly one of those reasons.

Did you catch the Monster.com ad?
This one almost made me choke on the guac from laughing.
